PvD’s ‘In Between’

A great album from a current No.1 DJ. personally, i like the whole album despite the concept is housy overall. never have i listen to a house cd over and over again. i bet this time he gave wat he thinks the fans will wan. who is it? he’s none other than Paul van Dyk, PvD for short.

Paul van Dyk (born Matthias Paul; December 16, 1971 (1971-12-16) in Eisenhüttenstadt, Brandenburg, East Germany) is one of the world’s leading trance music DJs and producers.

In Between is the latest album from Paul van Dyk released on August 14, 2007. The album features a wide range of collaborations including David Byrne of Talking Heads, Jessica Sutta of the Pussycat Dolls, Ashley Tomberlin from Luminary, Alex M.O.R.P.H, Lo Fi Sugar, Rea Garvey of Reamonn, Ryan Merchant and Wayne Jackson. It also features a vocal sample from Ben Lost from Probspot’s “Blows My Mind” on the song “Another Sunday”

The first single “White Lies” was released on July 31, 2007 and features vocals from Jessica Sutta of the Pussycat Dolls. The album is sold as a mixed CD in stores while it is sold unmixed on iTunes and van Dyk’s own online store (as the “DJ Friendly Version”), and a bonus track called “Next Generation” was offered exclusively only by pre-order prior to the album’s release, via iTunes. It is also sold unmixed on Rhapsody and Napster. There is also a bonus track that is available from the Vonyc webstore. The track is “Paul van Dyk & Starkillers & Austin Leeds feat. Ashley Tomberlin – New York City (Central Park Remix)”.

The album has reached #115 on The Billboard 200 and #2 on the Top Electronic Albums and Top Heatseekers charts. The album also reached number-sixteen on the Mexican Albums Chart and number-five on the International Chart.

Frozed…

The sun is so bright and blazing as i looked out from my library windows in the afternoon. and yet, i’m freezing now due to the air-conditioning. strange… last few days it was raining outside but i didn’t feel as cold as today when it was burning hot outside instead.

Anyway, add on a lil’ bit bout yesterday. as usual, went jogging around 5p.m. at the usual place despite the drizzling (which fails to die off). this time was a record as Just and i ran from the starting point to almost reaching another beach site (talking bout the Lutong side) which takes 5 minutes to drive! haha… think i’m getting better and better now. talking bout jogging, i’m sure some of you heard of ppl hiked or jogged at the Petronas Museum at the top of Canada Hill (literally not in Canada ok, just a place in miri). it’s a hilly place and consist of around 9 hills to hike. the very 1st time i hiked there, i managed to covered 6 hills. basically been there twice but the last time was like a year ago. so if this time i go back there, i wanna cover all the 9 hills that is there.

As for today, jogging resume as usual and for tonight i’m not sure yet. still haven’t ask around. hopefully can go out and chilled just like those hasher(s).
