One of the devotion that i’ve gone thru the other day was, what will we write as our will if we were in our last hour of living? the story used to illustrate was an explosion in a mine and out of 10 miners, only 1 survive. as the only survival in that explosion and waiting for ppl to rescue, i’m sure lots of thing ran across his mind. definitely one of the thought would be, to write a ‘note’ in hoping that if he couldn’t make it to see his family and frens at least the ‘note’ will.
The reading is from Psalm 90. to summarise things up, it is how we live our everyday with Jesus if we were to enter the Kingdom of Heaven.
God knows wat will happen tomorrow and not us and it require us to live a meaningful Christian-life. if we dun fear the Lord, then we will not fully understand Him and will not walk with Him. then the life that we live are meaningless for we did not live accordingly to the will of the Lord.
James 4:14
14Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.
