It’s the 3rd day of the week and i’ve just came back from consultation wit my lecturer. despites some postive feedbacks on my work, lots still need to be improve. this is wat you called the ‘learning process’.
Before i forget, i mentioned bout putting a shoutbox in my blog and telling you guys how to get there. now i make it easier. now the link for the shoutbox is just on the right-hand of the sidebar, just below the ‘About‘ tab. click on ‘View shoutbox’ and it’ll bring you to a new page. it won’t show up at the blog and it’s not an error. just that due to security reason, HTML shoutbox are not allowed at the moment. however if you’re using where you created the CSS script yourself, then you’ll be able to install a shoutbox on it.
If you use CSS script, here is a site that teaches you how to install a SmileTag chatbox, powered by AJAX. but if you’re like who don’t have the time to mess around wit your CSS script, then just do wat i did.
By the way, there’s a launching of the WiFi network in my campus oon this thursday which is tomorrow. any ya, campus lab have new PCs. they changed the CPU unit to a horizontal type where the monitor is placed on top of it. i think it’s good compare to a standing-type. since now the CPU is place on tha table, chances of you leaving wit your pendrive sticking at the CPU will greatly reduce cos it’s just right in front of you. if you still can walk away forgetting it this time then it must be your eyesight have problem.
another thing they changed was the D: drive where is longer a CD-Rom but a DVD-Rom! aiya… just a normal one, cannot use it to burn DVD one. both keyboard and mouse are new too. the only they took away is the A: drive and also the Zip drive. come to think bout, who is bother to use such drive when you can get a 2GB pendrive for less than RM50 (price quoted from last yr ICT Expo in december)!
Oh ya, i might wanna go for the Miri Jazz Festival this yr. it’s on the 9th and 10th of May. i’m not a jazzy person, but it doesn’t mean i dun listen to it. it’s just that i dun keep up wit the world of jazz music. as long as it’s nice, i’ll listen regardless of who’s the artists. you can find tickets info and packages available if you happen to be a non-mirian by going to the site above.
It all depends, it would be way better if i could attend the Rainforest World Music Festival 2008 from the 11th to 13th of July this yr which is going to be held in Kuching. but first thing have to figure out is accomodation and transport. it’s bout 31KM away from the main town. if i go, i prefer to stay in the town cos not only i wanna attend the festival but also walk around the town and taste all the food that i long miss it! ticket info are available now at this site.
Nothing is decided yet at the moment. it’s either Jazz or Rainforest which means, it’s either chilling out at a beach or dancing wit the monkey in the jungle.
