CNY Night Market @ 21st-Jan-09 Pt. 3

This is the last part of the 3 parts of the CNY Night Market of the 1st night for me and all these photos are some from stage performance, lion dance and a few random shots of the fellow PB‘s members.

The dragon dance was not so nice cause of improper setting that i was unaware of. but thanx to Karlina @ Karlos for the great advice right before the lion dance performance.

That’s all for now for the 1t night. i’m still trying to recover from fatigues after shooting for the 2 nites consecutively. and i’ll consider on posting up the 2nd nite photos.

CNY Night Market @ 21st-Jan-09 Pt. 2

Continuation from the Part 1, this post will be all about nature-themed which is plants as well as my currently-favourite area of shooting and that is portraits. i forgot to mention that i only had a 50mm f/1.8 lens wit me the whole night, no strobe nothing.

So, enjoy and i’ll tell you which one i like most.

This boy fell asleep at a traffic light, not that everyday he gets to sleep there though

Last but not least for the night was these few shots below of this little gal. she was running around and her dad was trying to following her. when i decided to take the shots, she was happy with it and also her dad trying to get her attention so that she won’t look directly at the camera and be natural the way she is.

CNY Night Market @ 21st-Jan-09 Pt. 1

To the opportunity yesterday to go photoshoot with a bunch of PhotoBorneo‘s kakis at the miri town where the CNY night market is located. I left to town right after i reached home from work without stopping to rest about 6. i was extremely pleased with the weather as it was different from the previous few days.

We start taking photos when we reached there from about 7 all the way till 11 something late at nite. here are the photos, i’m gonna split into 3 parts which are Streets, Portraits and Events due to the fact i have too many photos to share here in one go. first off will be the Streets:
